White Water-Based Adhesive for Carpentry and Hollow-Core Door Manufacturing

Premacol 40, formerly known as Preflex Wood, is a water-based adhesive developed for general carpentry and hollow-core (drummed) door manufacturing processes. Its formulation provides a long open time, facilitating precise alignment and bonding of components in door and panel production.

Technical Features:

• Fast Wet Strength Development: Holds components in place during the initial drying phase.
• Wide Open Time: Allows application on multiple wood components before assembly without premature drying.
• Easy Application: Can be applied manually using a spatula, brush, or roller, as well as with application or gluing equipment.
• Minimum Pressing Time 40 minutes: May vary depending on temperature and humidity conditions.

Recommended substrates:

• Medium-density natural woods (pine, ebony, cypress)
• Plywood (Triplex®)
• Engineered wood panels (MDF and MDP)
